The Healthy Way to Gain Weight

 

Some people find it difficult to gain weight.Some tips to try are:

 

        Drink protein-rich beverages (e.g. milk-based fruit shakes).Have fruit juices between meals.

 

        Munch on nuts and seeds, which are high in calories and many other nutrients.

 

        Avoid large amounts of high-calorie, high-fat foods because they will lead to weight gain and possible health consequences.

 

        Keep physically active so that muscle, and not fat, is gained.

 

        Eat small portions of food throughout the day to help stimulate a poor appetite.Donít set unrealistic goals by placing a large portion of food on the plate.

 

        Coax the appetite back - don't force it.
